Mantrap is a six piece Original "Sound of Miami" Dance Band specializing in 70's and 80's dance music. The band features male and female lead vocalists. Mantraps music includes songs by KC and the Sunshine Band, Gloria Gaynor (I will survive), Santana (Oye Come Va, Evil Ways), Frankie Valli, Ideas of March (Vehicle), Wild Cherry (Play that funky music), Classics Four (Traces), Malo (Suavecito), Bobby Caldwell (The House is Rockin) and many more. Their music incorporates a certain percussion flavor that gives their songs that desirable "Sound of Miami" hi-energy effect that is sought after by visiting corporate executives and local residents as well. Mantrap does not use Backing Tracks that give so many of today's cover bands that Karaoke sound, their music is straightforward and real.
We at the Consumer Sales and Service Give Back (CSSGB) Committee pride ourselves in planning fun events while giving back to the community. All proceeds from these events goes directly to Kids in Distress of Broward and Palm Beach and we hope you have as much fun at this years beer fest as we had putting it together.
